I hereby endorse the establishment of a safe and secure transitional camp and safe parking area that will provide a compassionate and effective approach to help our unhoused neighbors and which will provide long-term benefits for our entire community, including the reduction of fire threats from encampments.

I have reviewed the Nevada County Home Path plan and encourage our local government leaders to embrace the project and begin the steps necessary for its inclusion in our community as quickly as possible.
